The Parkwood Community Project is now a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), which means we are officially recognised by the Charity Commission with a unique charity number. This status strengthens our ability to support our community by giving us a legal identity as a charity, enabling us to own property, employ staff, and enter into contracts in the name of the charity, rather than relying on individual trustees. It also offers protection to our trustees by limiting their personal liability, helping us carry out our mission with added security and trust.
